Curriculum vitae

Vitaliy Sarancha MD, PhD is a Croatian-based medical professional originally from Ukraine, with an extensive background in medicine, healthcare management, and integrative healing practices. He graduated from the National Medical University in Ukraine in 2002 and began his career as a family medicine practitioner. In 2006, he transitioned to the private sector, holding roles in real estate and securities trading until the global financial crisis in 2010. During this period, he also served as an assistant to a Ukrainian parliamentary representative and engaged in healthcare investment activities in the Kyiv region.

In 2014, Dr. Sarancha relocated to Croatia, where he completed his doctorate at the University of Zagreb’s School of Medicine and returned to medical practice. In 2021, he founded and became the president of the International Association of Information Medicine, an NGO dedicated to advancing medical methods that integrate conventional and alternative approaches, including bioresonance, energetic healing, whole body cryotherapy, radiesthesia, and hypnotherapy.

He collaborates with the University of Zagreb’s Medical Faculty to ensure that his methods are scientifically validated and rigorously tested. His work represents a pioneering effort to transform the treatment of chronic health conditions by merging traditional medicine with complementary therapies.

One of his notable contributions is the “Detocre” method, an innovative approach to addressing obesity through a blend of psychological correction and physical treatments. This method helps patients confront deep-seated habits and fears associated with overeating by employing techniques that induce a state of deep relaxation. The Detocre method draws on Dr. Sarancha’s expertise in hypnotherapy and his diverse educational background, which includes online courses from prestigious institutions such as Harvard.

As a hypnotherapist, author is renowned for his work in helping individuals manage stress, “burn out” conditions and make positive life changes through hypnosis. He employs techniques such as regression therapy to help clients uncover and resolve past experiences that may influence their current behaviors. This approach typically involves guiding clients into a deeply relaxed state, allowing them to access their subconscious mind to address issues such as anxiety, phobias, and harmful habits.

Dr. Sarancha is also exploring the integration of hypnotherapy with psychedelic experiences, known as “psychedelic-assisted hypnotherapy.” This emerging field involves the use of psychedelics, such as psilocybin or muscimol, combined with therapeutic techniques to potentially enhance treatment outcomes for conditions like trauma, depression, and anxiety.

Currently, author practices as a general practitioner in Zagreb and participates in various international medical projects focused on preventive medicine, information medicine, and mental health.

Beyond his clinical work, he is dedicated to making his innovative treatments accessible to a wider audience through online platforms and organizes personalized retreats outside the city. These retreats aim to detoxify and rejuvenate both the mind and body of his clients.

Outside his professional endeavours, he enjoys music, art, and traveling with his family and friends.

In 2024, the author’s first book, ‘Stop Being Sick!’ was published and is available at the following link:
